July.2007 - The begining...
I always wanted to live in another country, but I never knew why.
My life had other ways for 11 years and, suddenly, I went back to the begining, my first plan since I was a teenager, living abroad.
When I decided to become my dreams reality, the first place that I thought was Australia. Why? Might be because the weather is the same like in Brazil, the people are open-mind and the men are amazing...lol - who knows I can find a good husband there, it was my thought...lol
A dear friend of mine, Erick, told me who had a Italian passport could be a special visa (Working Holiday Visa), which I could work 40 hours a week and study for 4 months, it'd be fantastic, I wouldn't have to pay a course or spend any money. Then I search about that and I had a little problem, this visa is applied for people between 18 and 30 years old and in that moment I was 30 and I'd be 31 in next 2 months... Hurry up! - it was what my friend said.
After heaps of difficulties - at work, with money, deciding school, doing the visa - finally everything was solved. I spent a year planning to come here, but in june/2008 this dream came true. And my sister came with me. Awesome!
And now I've already been living in Australia for 7 months and I'll try to tell some stories!
